1973 Hank Aaron Talks to Roger Maris Wire Photos (3)
One of the captions on the (3) wire photos from July 17, 1973 says that Roger Maris had "no advice for Aaron" when the two chatted prior to a game. Even so, Maris certainly understood the pressure that Aaron felt as he gained ground on Babe Ruth's lifetime home run record. Regardless of the conversation, both future HOFers were obviously enjoying each others company. The photos measure 8.5 x 11" and are front captioned. (2) are in mint condition and the third, with editing marks, is VG to EX.
