You'll do a double double-take at this photo of members of the 1973-1974 Criollos de Caguas team that, representing the Puerto Rican Winter League, won the Caribbean World Series in Hermosillo, Mexico -- led by two gringos named Gary Carter, far left, and Mike Schmidt, 3rd from left in the back under a goofy hat and hoisting a finger for "No. 1", both looking like underage refugees from the disco decade as do fellow Americans Jay Johnstone, Craig Swan and Rudy Meoli. 7 1/2 x 9" photo is EX+ and perhaps the only one.
