1975 Bobby Clarke Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup Finals Game 6 Used Stick

1975 Bobby Clarke Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup Finals Game 6 Used Stick

One of the NHL's all-time great captains, Bobby Clarke, is front-and-center with this Sher-Wood stick used in the series-clinching Game 6 of the 1975 Stanley Cup finals. After the Flyers secured that 2-0 triumph in Buffalo, most of them dropped their sticks to celebrate and Clarke was one of them. A Sabres employee was keen enough to collect the dropped sticks and keep them for the sake of history and what could have been for his team (Buffalo has still not won the Stanley Cup to date). Stick is perfect with original tape on butt end (slightly peeling) and blade and displays great use. His now-retired number 16 and CLARKEB are stamped on the shaft of this great piece of history. Known for his grit and tenacity in the "Broad Street Bullies" era, in 2017 Clarke was named as one of the NHL's Top 100 Players of all time.
