1975 Roger Crozier Buffalo Sabres Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Jersey
Historically important and all original 1975 Buffalo Sabres hockey jersey was game worn by goaltender Roger Crozier for his team's first ever trip to the Stanley Cup Finals. As such, it was also the first time Buffalo added names to the back of their jerseys, as the road blue beauty has a drawstring collar with Dick Fisher collar tag (size is illegible) and washing instructions tag inside tail. Crossed sabers with buffalo logo crest covers the chest, with Crozier's number "1" on both sleeves and back and name on a plate, all in yellow-on-white tackle twill. Displays great use with stick and puck marks, right sleeve has three small team repairs and one large one; left bottom side of stomach area also has a small team repair. Though he was nearing the end of his stellar career, Crozier had a big hand in those finals against the Boston Bruins, including a Game 3 win in relief in the infamous "Fog Game" at the old Buffalo Auditorium against the Philadelphia Flyers. With the Sabres trailing the series 3-2, Crozier started Game 6 and held a shutout for two periods before Philly rallied for the Cup clincher. For his efforts, he was inducted into the Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 2009.
