1999 Dominik Hasek NHL All-Star Game Worn Jersey, Pants and Socks
Nice trio of items game worn by Dominik Hasek in the 1999 NHL All-Star Game. 1) Jersey has CCM and size 58 collar tags, inventory code KVS056 sewn inside near fight strap, and displays use with a few small paint transfers from goal posts and some minor sweat stains. The NHL crest is across the chest and as the game was in the "North America vs. The World" format, Hasek's Czech flag patch on the right breast denotes his status as part of the World team. All-Star Game patch on right shoulder, Buffalo Sabres logo patch on left shoulder, number 39 in white-on-blue on sleeves, blue-on-white on back, and name on plate in all blue. 2) Black CCM goalie pants (no padding) with CCM and size XXL tagging in waist. 3) Pair of CCM hockey socks, white with blue and gray trim, shows minimal use as these are worn under the pads. Hasek split the playing time in the World team's 8-6 loss but did not get a decision, as teammate Arturs Irbe took the "L." This unusual format was used only from 1998 through 2002, making these items from the Hall of Fame netminder that much more historic.
