The Golden Jet was a welcomed addition to Team Canada in the 1976 Canada Cup after his absence from the series in 1972. This white heavy knit sweater with applied red rubber half leaf Canada crest, name and numbers was worn briefly by Bobby during the international tournament. Hull finished fourth in scoring in the event with eight points. The AK manufacturers tag in the collar, size 46. Displays a few black stick slashes and a number of red paint marks. Small scattered areas of blood staining. This jersey is from the first set of whites worn early in the tournament and pre-tournament exhibition games. Jerseys from the second set were given to Czech players in the famous exchange at the end of the last game. Some smoke staining due to decades of display in the collection of a former CCM team rep who supplied sticks and equipment to Team Canada. Letter detailing the history of the shirt.
