Reflecting the muted and overcast forecast on the 1978 gloomy masterpiece, “Darkness on the Edge of Town", this richly detailed poster announces “an evening with Bruce Springsteen". Performed in Iowa City on June 13, 1978, this beige and black poster renders a portrait of the Boss in a vague, complicated illustration of tonal complexity (very unlike the swaggering hipster of his previous “Born to Run” album). Measuring 11 x 16 ?”, there is a slight crease on the upper left corner, and some overall yellowing from age. EX+.
