On September 28, 1979, Larry Holmes fought Ernie Shavers for the WBC Heavyweight Title in Las Vegas. Holmes, down in the 7th round, would rally and win by TKO in the 11th round in defense of his title. Offered here is a scarce on-site poster to the event which came from the personal collection of Larry Holmes and hung in his gym. A thin cardboard poster with center crease, minor staining and toning. Bold, clear images of both fighters. Scarce poster. 21.5" x 28."
