Two Awards Presented to Larry Holmes
These are two of the most prestigious awards an athlete can receive. These acknowledge recognition from two of the most notable civil rights organizations, the NAACP and CORE. Both given to former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes. The first reads, "C.O.R.E. CONGRESS OF RACIAL EQUALITY HARMONY AWARD PRESENTED TO MR. LARRY HOLMES AUGUST 25, 1997." The second reads, "N.A.A.C.P. FREEDOM FUND COMMITTEE PRESENTED TO LARRY HOLMES LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND ENDLESS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ADVANCEMENT AND PRINCIPLES OF THE ORGANIZATION JUNE 30, 2001." Both in EX condition.
