1980-1981 Pete LoPresti Edmonton Oilers First Year Game Used Sweater with Vintage Wayne Gretzky Autograph
Goaltender Pete LoPresti played out his last professional hockey season with the CHL Wichita Wind and the NHL Edmonton Oilers. From the latter team comes this 1980-1981 gamer, with not one but two vintage Wayne Gretzky signatures on its nicely used front - one in black marker on the white of the logo, the other in silver pen above that on its blue mesh. Tough first year in the NHL style with terrific yellowing on collar from sweat, this jersey has size “50” in blue pen on the “Shadow Sporting Knit” collar tag, as well as dense stitching of “LoPresti” on nameplate on back, above his orange and white “1.”
