1980 New York Islanders Stanley Cup Ring
Impressive 10-karat gold ring was presented to New York Islanders scout, Boyd following the New York Islanders’ 1980 Championship season. Marking the start of the New York Islanders 4-consecutive Stanley Cup titles, the ring is adorned with large blue stone on top, set with faux diamond in the center. Surrounding words in raised lettering read, “1980 Stanley Cup Champions.” Left shank bears the name, “Boyd” on a banner with the Islanders team emblem below. Opposite shank is Lord Stanley’s cup with the NHL shield behind. Excellent condition.
