1984 Pete Rose Game Used Uniform
His heart was unquestionable, his drive was unstoppable, and his ability to make contact was just uncanny. Like him or not Rose is the league’s most prolific hitter and this complete uniform is the most rare of all game used equipment. His home white jersey has a tri-color “Expos” team logo on the left chest and his number “14” on the right. On the reverse is “Rose” and “14” in blue tackle twill. Tagged, “Rawlings [size] 42”, on the inner tail with, “Set 1 1984” flag tag, and “Ex 84” chain-stitched in white to a red tackle twill plate. The matching white pants with red and blue trim are tagged on the inner waistband, “Rawlings [size] 34”, and, “Set 1 1984” flag tag, with, “34 28 ? 84” and “Rose 14” chain-stitched in white to a red tackle twill plate. Light but evident use. Obtained from ex-Montreal equipment manager.
