1985-86 Barry Melrose Detroit Red Wings Game Used Jersey
The current hockey analyst for NBC (lose the mullet) once had a reputation as a rough and tumble defensemen throughout his career in the WHA and NHL. Offered is what be his last jersey worn as a professional during his final stop in Detroit. He would suit up for just fifteen games that season before hanging up his skates for good, after a short run in the AHL, allowing little reason for him to need more than just one set of uniforms. His red "road" example is sewn with the Red Wings team logo on front, "Melrose" in white tackle twill across the shoulders, and his number "2" on the verso and sleeves. The left shoulder is embroidered with the "Red Wings 60th Season" anniversary logo and the jersey's manufacturer, "Eastside", has their name embroidered on the back tail. Light but evident use can be found throughout and Barry has signed the right shoulder in black Sharpie that grades a 9/10.
