1990 Howard Johnson New York Mets "Home Run" Game Worn Jersey (Photo-Matched)
This home white pinstripe jersey was worn by New York Mets favorite Howard Johnson on June 30, 1990. In that game, Johnson belted a second-inning home run but it was not enough as the hosts fell in a 7-4 defeat against the Cincinnati Reds. This style bears the stripes down both sides that were worn in the period including the 1986 Championship season. The classic script Mets logo is above HoJo's number 20 on the front of the pullover, which includes Rawlings size 42, "Set 1 1990" and "20" tags inside front tail. Multiple photo-matches.
