1992-93 Derian Hatcher Minnesota North Stars Game Worn Jersey
Derian Hatcher was drafted in the first round by Minnesota, eighth overall in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He first donned a North Stars sweater during the 1991-92 season when he saw action in 43 games, playing his first NHL game on October 10, 1991 and scoring his first NHL goal only two days later. At the end of that season the North Stars named him their rookie of the year. With the exception of a two game detour into the IHL, in 1992-93 he spent most of his season with the North Stars. This jersey comes from that sophomore season and it shows that Hatcher had something to prove. Maska Ultrafil tag in the neck to the right of the size “56” fly tag in the collar. Stanley Cup 100th Anniversary patch on the right chest. Stick marks galore on the front with one repair between the logo and hem striping. No less than five team repairs on the back left sleeve with a board burn on the #2. One five-plus inch repair on the bottom left sleeve cuff seam extending to the front of the sleeve cuff. Another repair on the front of the left sleeve. No less than five mangled team repairs on the back right sleeve. Two sizable repair jobs on the middle of the back hem. Pilling where the fight strap hangs inside the tail. One upside-down L-shaped repair to the right of the nameplate. Pilling inside both elbows. Team LOA.
