1992 Michael Jordan Signed "Make a Wish" Sneakers w/Exact Proof of Signing (JSA)

1992 Michael Jordan Signed "Make a Wish" Sneakers w/Exact Proof of Signing (JSA)

A few notable details converge to make this pair of sneakers signed by Michael Jordan special. Of course, MJ's autograph in itself is special, but these sneakers were signed by Jordan as part of the "Make a Wish Foundation" for a boy named Omar Ocasio. The Air Jordan VII Bordeaux's come with a copy of a letter sent to Ocasio on Michael Jordan Foundation letterhead expressing Jordan's excitement in meeting the young man before a game on December 30, 1992, in Miami. The two did indeed meet that night, and there is a photo included of MJ signing these exact shoes. To add to the magic, Jordan proceeded to play brilliantly, dropping 39 points and leading the Bulls to victory over the Heat. The shoes are a size 8.5 and do show wear, though not by MJ. Each sneaker has been signed by Jordan, both in an early style clearly from his playing days. They come in the original box with a JSA LOA for both signatures.
