From 1986 to 2006, the Major League All-Stars squared off against the stars of Japan's Nippon Baseball League in even-numbered years for a friendly exhibition. In 1992, Boston third baseman and batting champ Wade Boggs sported this home white jersey in the game won by the Americans, 5-1. "Red Sox" is emblazoned across the front and " Boggs 26" is on the back, which is unusual since Boston normally does not wear names on their home jerseys. Russell size 44 and 100% polyester tagging is on the front tail, while a 1992 MLB All Star Tour patch adorns the left sleeve. Shows moderate use and is signed on the back: "Wade Boggs, Game Used, Japan All-Star Series."
