1993 Felix Potvin Game Used Goalie Mask

1993 Felix Potvin Game Used Goalie Mask

In his first year, Potvin carried the Leafs to the semi-finals where they succumbed to Wayne Gretzky and his Los Angeles Kings. After his six year run with the Leafs he had more games played and wins than all other Leafs goaltenders except for Turk Broda and Johnny Bower. He set a club record, leading the league in games played with 74 during the 1996-97 season. In that season he faced more shots than any goaltender in league history. Since then he has played with 4 more NHL teams. This beautifully designed mask is from his year in the semis against Gretzky. It’s in Toronto blue and white and has a mean looking cat drawn on the roof. It has Maple Leaf symbols all over it and shows good use with a few marks from blistering slap shots and errant sticks. The rear skull pad says “Eddy Masks.” The same is written on one of the straps. The interior chin has “E-18-3-93” in black marker. It is in Excellent condition.
