1996 Mario Lemieux NHL All-Star Game Worn Jersey
Magnificent Mario Lemieux was a force in the Eastern Conference’s win at the 1996 NHL All-Star Game (beating the West 5-4), and signed this blue and white All-Star jersey on its left breast in 9/10 black sharpie. In one more of his many amazing seasons, especially considering he had missed the entire previous season due to his health problems, Lemieux won the Art Ross and Hart trophies, and scored 69 goals (tying his third best total ever) in this 1995-96 year of play. Gutsy, brilliant and giving new meaning to the word resilience, Lemieux is, and always will be, an All-Star of the highest caliber. Garment has light, but definite use. Size 54 tag hangs in collar.
