1997-98 Ron Francis Pittsburgh Penguins 1,400th Career Point Game Worn Skates
Pair of Bauer Supreme Custom 1000's were worn by Francis to score his 1,400th career point. Judging by the use, they were used for some time before and/or after also. Cuts on the toes, paint tranfers, puck and stick marks are present. Both are signed by Francis in 8/10 gold paint pen. Both are marked in black on the bottoms "10 Francis 1400, 1/29/98." The game was at Boston and the Penguins won 4-2. Francis scored his 1,400th in the first period with an assist.
