1999-2000 Mark Messier Vancouver Canucks Game Worn Jersey

1999-2000 Mark Messier Vancouver Canucks Game Worn Jersey

One of the all-time greats to play in the NHL and one of the greatest captains in the history of North American sports, he combined with the “The Great One” Wayne Gretzky to lead the Edmonton Oilers to six Stanley Cups. He achieved every team and individual goal that anyone could ever hope to achieve. Messier spent 1997-2000 in Vancouver after his first stint with the Rangers, where he had led them to their first Stanley Cup in over half a century. On the inside back collar of the sweater is a "CCM" and size "56" tag. On the inside bottom left is an additional tag with "1999 2000 GAME WORN Limited Edition" Vancouver Canucks tag. On the front is the Canucks logo patch in navy, red, white, silver and blue tackle twill. On the left breast is the Captain's "C." On the right breast is the embroidered NHL 2000 black and silver patch which is sewn onto the jersey. The sweater is autographed in black marker on the front below the Captain's "C," rating a 7 to 8. The fight strap has "All Star Game 2000" on one side and "Dal." on the other, both in black marker. Shows light use with some stick marks on the left sleeve.
