19th Century Baseball Meerschaum Cigar Holder

19th Century Baseball Meerschaum Cigar Holder

Holy smokes! Feast your eyes on this fantastic artifact from the 19th century: a hand-carved Meerschaum cigar holder adorned with a batter and barehanded catcher. One of only two or three known to exist, this gorgeous rarity once featured an amber stem on the other end, which could be replaced but is not essential. Meerschaum remains a mineral of choice to this very day for pipes and other smoking paraphernalia, and this vessel is in EX+ condition. 3.25" long.
