19th Century Baseball Stereoview Cards (5)
One lot of five stereoview cards. Includes (A) 1876 Centennial Picnic in Swanzy NH with bib front players several of the people pictured identified on the verso. Published by JA French of Keene NH. (B) 1860s Views of Cincinnati and Vicinity with several children holding early bats. Published by JW Winder of Cincinnati. (C) 1867 Baseball Match in front of a hospital. The former owner has identified the hospital is "Pain Killa Villa" on the verso and dated the card Oct 3, 1867. (D) Men in stove pipe top hats watch an 1860s Baseball Game in Action on Richmond Green. From a series of cards picturing Kingston and Richmond VA. (Very Good condition) (E) The only non 19th century card, this one dates from the 1920s and pictures a small boy with a bat. All are Excellent or better unless otherwise noted.
