2000 Dwight Gooden World Series New York Yankees Signed Worn Jersey
Classic New York Yankees road jersey worn by Dwight Gooden during the regular season and on the bench during the 2000 Subway Series. Russell Athletics size 50 and 1999 tags on front tail, Subway Series patch on right sleeve and black memorial armband on left sleeve for Bob Lemon. Signed on uniform back in blue Sharpie and inscribed "Game Worned (sic) 2000 WS Champs Subway Series." The Bombers took the first - and only, to date - series between the New York City rivals, topping the Mets in five games.
