2002 All Star Game Pitching Rubber

2002 All Star Game Pitching Rubber

The 2002 All Star included everything, great pitching, excellent fielding, powerful hitting, and tremendous fan response. The only thing missing was a winner. After eleven innings skippers Joe Torre and Bob Brenly having exhausted every pitching option available to them were forced to turn to Commissioner Selig. Eventually, to the fans dismay, the game would be called and a tie declared for the first time in history (when weather was not a factor). During the eleven innings that preceded that unlikely finish all nineteen pitchers would use the “Hollywood Base Professional” pitching rubber now offered including Schilling, Halladay, Zito, Perez, Gagne, Hoffman, Garcia, Sasaki, Wiliams, Kim, and Beuhrle. The top surface boasts unmatchable game use along with a raised MLB logo and is screened with the “2003 MLB All-Star Game.” Affixed with an Official MLB authenticating hologram.
