2002 Olympic Jersey Worn to Light Torch at Salt Lake City
Twenty-two years after they produced the "Miracle on Ice," members of the 1980 U.S. gold medal-winning hockey team kept the flame alive as they reunited in Salt Lake City to be the final torchbearers for the 2002 Winter Games. Wearing USA hockey uniforms fashioned after their 1980 jerseys, they touched the torch to the base of the 117-foot-tall cauldron. This sweater was worn that night by former Olympic gold medalist Mark Wells. Directly from the personal collection of Mark Wells, who has agreed to autograph and/or personalize the jersey for the successful bidder.
