2002 Stu Poirier Olympic Hockey Gold Medalist Ring

2002 Stu Poirier Olympic Hockey Gold Medalist Ring

This 10-karat yellow gold ring made by Intergold commemorates Canada's first Olympic hockey gold medal in 50 years. Presented to Stu Poirier, who served as massage therapist for the victorious Team Canada at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, this gorgeous ring features a garnet stone holding the raised Olympic rings in gold, encrusted with no less than 32 real diamonds. "Gold Medalist" appears in raised letters above the Olympic rings; "2002 Olympics" below. The right shank shows the gold medal game score "Canada 5", USA 2" above a pair of crossed hockey sticks with the logo of the Games, and the words "Spirit Prevails" below. The left shank has "Poirier" and "MT" with the years of Canada's previous Olympic wins surrounding an enameled Hockey Canada logo. The inside is engraved "Let the spirit prevail." Size 11.5. Mint in the original presentation box. Comes with LOA.
