2003 Florida Marlins World Series Championship Ring
Spectacular and rare 2003 World Series Championship Marlins ring from the collection of long time Marlins scout Orrin Freeman. Coveted Type "A" ring is made of 14 karat white and 18 karat yellow gold with 228 white diamonds, 13 rubies, and one teal diamond. Face of the ring reads "World Champions" above and below the Marlins logo on a baseball background, all encrusted with genuine rubies and diamonds. Left shank reads "Freeman 2003 Scout" in relief around an image of the World Series trophy, right shank bears team logos for the Marlins and Yankees with numbers "4" and "2" indicating series wins, respectively above 100th World Series logo and designations for 4-3 series win over the Cubs and 3-1 over the Giants. Inside stamped Intergold 14K, weight is a very hefty 106 grams (based on spec sheet from Intergold), total gem weight is 4.75 carats. Comes with original glass-top cherrywood display box with "Florida Marlins 2003 World Series Champions and Orrin Freeman on the glass. Also comes with original appraisal letter from Intergold, Ltd. For obvious reasons, World Championship rings are very hard to come by - especially in the glitzy modern era - and this is an exceedingly rare opportunity to own one of the most magnificent rings ever made.
