2005 Cy Young winner Chris Carpenter’s Cardinals Locker Signed with Nameplate and Chair

2005 Cy Young winner Chris Carpenter’s Cardinals Locker Signed with Nameplate and Chair

Busch Stadium clearly proved to be to 2005 Cy Young winner Chris Carpenter’s liking. After six promising but unspectacular seasons in Toronto, the massive righthander found instant comfort in Busch’s spacious outfield dimensions in 2004, going 15-5 with a 3.46 ERA and 152 strikeouts. That set the stage for a Cy Young-level 2005 season, when he led the National League in wins nearly wire to wire. Carpenter’s locker would instantly gratify any display of “top shelf” Cardinal collectibles. The entire locker chassis (91” tall, 31.5” wide) is included, wood mainframe and interior shelves, including a compartment on the top shelf left. Locker will come empty but signed in black Sharpie on the door of the lock box. The nameplate that hung above the locker will be attached to the top frame. Condition of the locker is EX with a nice collection of nicks and dents. Also included will be the chair used by Carpenter, also EX with a few scratches of the paint. 32” tall and 27” wide with a red metallic frame and a white cushion with a “Cardnials” logo. <br>(Estimate $2,000 - $3,000)
