The Wilson ball has "National Football League" and "Patriots" stamped on it, as well as the logos of the Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. Before his incarceration for murder and subsequent conviction, Hernandez was a talented NFL tight end, teaming with Rob Gronkowski to give the New England Patriots the NFL top tight end tandem during their years together. In fact, in 2011 they became the first pair of tight ends to catch at least five touchdowns in two consecutive seasons. In the 2011 season, Hernandez caught 79 passes for 910 yards and seven touchdowns. The ball has a NFL stamp and is in excellent condition.
