Actress Hedy Lamarr Photographs (74)
Hedy Lamarr was an Austrian born actress who starred in films such as Algiers(1938), White Cargo (1942), and Tortilla Flat (1942). In 1941 she was cast with Lana Turner and Judy Garland in the musical Ziegfeld Girl. Her biggest success came as Delilah in Cecil B. DeMille's Samson and Delilah (1949). Photos range in size from 12 1/2" x 8" to 5" x 7" with most 8" x 10". Conditions range from VG-NRMT. Many have newspaper edit marks. Photos span her career and also highlight her family. One shot is of she and her husband John Loder watching the christening of their daughter Denise Hedwig Loder as the baby is being held by Godmother Bette Davis. There are photos of her 1966 press conference where she was defending herself against charges of shoplifting "bikini panties, beads and other items".
