Alaskan Ballpark Under Water Real Photo Postcards (2)

Alaskan Ballpark Under Water Real Photo Postcards (2)

Amazing pair of early 1900's postcards right from the Examiner Archive. They are perfectly identical shots of the “Ball Ground at Ketchikan Alaska”. The first shows a game in progress at "Low Tide". The second is “High Tide” and shows the grounds completely under water. Absolutely amazing, one of a kind images. Backs are unposted and signed and notated (tiny print) by the photographer C.R. Fickle. Strong EX+. Only specimens we have seen. Ketchikan is the first city in Alaska and the salmon capitol of the world. From our research the game is circa 1904.
