When Jacques Plante put on a face mask in 1959 after taking a slap shot in the face, he literally changed the face of hockey. A brilliant goalie, he led the Canadiens to 5 straight Stanley Cups and enjoyed a storied 20-year HOF career. Each of these 12 photos from NHL's official magazine boasts Plante's important signature -- including a few with him sans mask with the Canadians and later the St. Louis Blues, which with the signatures are extremely rare. Signatures in blue ink are NRMT as are the pages, which also include photos signed by Bobby Orr, Tony Esposito, Johnny Bower, Gump Worsley, Reg Fleming and others. Pages are also NRMT.
