July 20th 1933 in Chicago, Babe Herman of the Cubs crushes 3 home runs to tie the N.L. record. In this Letter Herman recalls that game. Despite the achievement itself, Herman states "...Other hits gave me more satisfaction". In addition to the the three home runs, Herman also tallied 8 RBIs and 13 total bases leading the Cubs to a 10-1 victory over the Phillies.
