On the brink of the stock market crash, this is like a farewell to the happy times of the the roaring twenties and a prelude to the depression's tough times. Back cover is signed by a stunning assemblage: Babe Ruth (following his 1927 season), Bobby Jones (golfer extraordinaire), Tex Rickard (legendary boxing promoter and the man who built Madison Square Garden), Damon Runyon (legendary sports and mystery writer), Harold J Diblee (MSG VP), Johnny Weismuller (champion swimmer and actor who portrayed Tarzan), William B McCabe, George __, and "To Miss Ford Gene Tunney." Gene Tunney has added a huge second signature on the autograph page inside above a vintage snapshot. Spectacular cover art of an American flag. Signatures are in pencil and this is overall Excellent.
