Babe Ruth 1920s Reach Large Die-Cut Illustrated Equipment Tag in the Shape of Ruth's Head
You can tie it to your suitcase, or even hang it on your Christmas tree if you like; Babe Ruth's head comprises this die-cut equipment tag from the A.J. Reach, Wright and Ditson sporting goods company out of Boston, complete with original tie string. The Bambino's head, with orange outline, measures roughly 3.5x4" and features disclaimer copy on the reverse. This is the only such item known to exist, with some stamping marks on his cap.
