Babe Ruth 1930s Quaker Oats Premium Scorers with Scarce "NY" Variation
Back in 1934 and '35, Quaker Oats would offer Babe Ruth-endorsed premium items such as these FOB scorers when folks redeem box tops from its cereal. The original, short-lived "NY" New York version was changed by Quaker to "B" when the Babe was traded to the Boston Braves in 1935. Both variations are included here, each measuring 2" in height and featuring the Bambino's semi-grin. Fans could use the dials on the back to keep track of innings, runs, balls and strikes.
