Babe Ruth and Connie Mack Tour of Japan Wire Photo (1934)
The Bambino and long time manager Connie Mack are featured in this 1934 original wire photo. The photo showing a rather frosty Ruth and Mack was taken on their sail to Hawaii and Japan in October, 1934. The famous player and manager were leading an all star team on an exhibition tour abroad. Photo is 7 1/4" x 6"and is NRMT. The two men do not seem to be happy as Mack is staring at Ruth as Ruth looks away somberly.
