Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig at Yankee Stadium Vintage Photograph (PSA Type II)
Rare Type II photograph dates from 1933 and depicts Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig in Yankees uniforms, surrounded by nine well-dressed men of apparent Asian descent. Measuring 3x4.75", the photo is encapsulated by PSA as Type II Authentic c1948 (that would be when it was reprinted from the original negative), and verso has International News Photo stamp along with pencil notation stating "Tokyo University, 1933, Yankee Stadium." This could well have been a precursor to the legendary 1934 Tour of Japan featuring MLB stars, in which both Pinstripe legends participated.
