Babe Ruth Multi Signed 1930 World Series Game Used Baseball - Direct Family Provenance (PSA)

Babe Ruth Multi Signed 1930 World Series Game Used Baseball - Direct Family Provenance (PSA)

The consignor's aunt, Ruth Kinsler, lucked into this treasure during Game 4 of the 1930 World Series between the Philadelphia Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals.  With Mule Haas at bat, a foul ball was hit near the press box in St. Louis and Miss Kinsler pounced on it. Adding to her good fortune, Babe Ruth happened to be seated nearby, and the Babe was gracious enough to sign the ball for her. The ONL (Heydler) ball also features the signatures of several World Series contestants, including Mickey Cochrane, Jim Bottomley, Frank Frisch, Al Simmons, Chick Hafey and Bill Hallahan. Ruth's signature, which appears on the sweet spot, rates 4.0, while the rest average 6.5. The ball is accompanied by a copy of the exact article detailing the ball's history, in which Miss Kinsler endearingly refers to it as "the sphere". Includes PSA LOA.
