Babe Ruth Pitching By Charles Conlon

Babe Ruth Pitching By Charles Conlon

The great pitcher Babe Ruth following through after delivering the pitch towards the plate. Photo (8 x 10") was shot and printed in 1921. Rarely seen untrimmed full size image is a killer. He would only pitch in two games and toss nine innings that year and did not throw in a regulation game again until 1930. This is because he was in the final stage of switching over to full time hitter at the time. Signed on verso by Conlon with his handwritten note as well. Exceptional photo is crystal clear with one small repaired tear. EX+ to EX-MT. Comes from the Ring Magazine collection with LOA.
