Bo Jackson Rookie Jersey
Tremendously appealing '86 Kansas City Royals road jersey worn by Bo Jackson during his rookie season, as it marks Bo's big league ascension in his "hobby" sport of baseball. Within a few years, the former Heisman Trophy winner would also be lugging pigskins under his arm for the Raiders, and make history as the only athlete to ever be named an All-Star in two sports. The jersey recalls the heady days when "Bo Knows" was the most overused phrase in the world. In '89,, Jackson would clear 30 homers and 100 RBIs, and hit a home run ni the All-Star Game that is probably still traveling. But a hip injury ruined his career in both sports, despite an inspiring baseball comeback after missing the entire '92 season. The pale blue jersey features "Royals" chain-stitched on the front in white tackle twill along with Jackson's number 16. The Royals patch is on the left shoulder and Jackson's name is sewn on the back. Size 44 jersey has the original Wilson tag and the "86" tag on the tail. It shows moderate game use and comes from the Charlie Sheen collection.
