Bob Gibson Atlanta Braves Equipment Collection (7)
From 1982 to 1984, Cardinals ace Bob Gibson actually donned the uniform of the Atlanta Braves, serving as their pitching coach. During that time when Phil Niekro was Atlanta's ace, fellow Hall of Famer Gibson owned this well-used Braves equipment bag, which has "45" on both ends. There's also one plain blue jacket (likely from his one year as "Attitude Coach " with the Mets in 1981) by Rawlings and another jacket by Starter that has "Braves" across the front. Also included in the lot are two pairs of Converse spikes with one pair having "45" written inside. There's also a Braves team sweater by Sand Knit with a zipper front and Braves pullover jacket by Starter with "Braves 45" embroidered.
