Bob Liddington WHA Chicago Cougars Game Worn Jersey
The Chicago Cougars were an original WHA franchise whose main objective was to sign Stan Mikita away from the Blackhawks once Bobby Hull defected to play with the league’s Winnipeg Jets. After 3 years of trying, they ran out of money and fans - even at the 9,000-seat International Amphitheater - and went into the dustbin of history in ’75. This original Cougars jersey was worn by left wing Bob Liddington, who played with the team all 3 years. Yellow dureen jersey has a "cougar" logo in green and yellow across chest, "Liddington" on verso in green and "7" on verso and both sleeves in green on white. "Wilson [size] 46" tag in collar. Good use.
