Bobby Hull's 1978 Winnipeg Jets Avco Cup Championship Ring
Bobby Hull and his Winnipeg Jets teammates owned the World Hockey Association during the 1977-78 season as they chalked up an impressive 50 wins and 102 points during the regular season and then won eight of nine playoff games, including a 4-game sweep of the New England Whalers in Avco Championship play. Each member of the victorious Jets received a gorgeous 10K gold ring for their effort. A single CZ is centered on the face of Bobby’s ring, encircled by “WHA Champions”. One shank includes the Jets logo with “HULL” arched above, while a raised Avco trophy and “78” are engraved on the other with “Avco Cup” above. Stamped “Josten’s 10K” on the inside band. Size 12, in excellent condition. From the personal collection of the man who put the WHA on the map and produced a progeny of sons (and soon grandsons) to stock hockey for the next 20 years. Comes with Bobby's signed Letter of Authenticity.
