Bobby Hull’s NHL All-Star Game Charms
This cache of 9 (how appropriate) glittering golden NHL All-Star charms accrued over the Golden Jet’s long and illustrious career were the property of Hull himself and represent each of the NHL All-Star Games he participated in, except for the last. Gorgeous 10K gold charms each have real diamonds on the front engraving of a star under crossed sticks, between which is engraved “NHL All Star”, and in engraved stars on the thick edges, one for each year he’d been an All-Star. Back of each charm engraved “Bobby Hull” above the years he was an All-Star up to the time of issuance. Includes each year from 1959-60 to 1969-70. The ultra-valuable first one reads “1959-60” against an undisturbed background. By ‘69-70, nearly all the space on the back was eaten up by the seasons arrayed on it. Very rare NHL memorabilia -- and from the personal collection of no less than one of the greatest of ‘em all, and arguably its most popular player ever! Charms measure 9/16” in diameter and 1/8” thick and are in NRMT condition with no tarnishing or scratching to speak of. All are attached by their hook-tops to a white cushion in an appropriately golden case that comes in a golden box, both of which are also NRMT. Flawless baubles attesting to a golden icon. Originally obtained from Bobby Hull. The charms were produced in recent years at his request.
