Brooklyn Dodgers Equipment Collection Of Three
A trio of vintage Dodger garb here, stashed by equipment man Dan Comerford. Two beautiful Brooklyn Dodgers satin jackets and an unused team-issued cap. Both jackets have Wilson tagging in neckline, with one being a size 44, the other 46. They have faux-fur lining as well. The 44 shows some age and wear, likely from Comerford or one of his relatives. The 46 is in fantastic shape. Near Mint overall. The unworn cap has the MacGregor GoldSmith stamp on leather band. Size is 7 1/4. All three pieces date to the 1940's, near the tail end of Comerford's tenure with the Bums.
