Warren Spahn Game Worn Boston Braves Cap

Warren Spahn Game Worn Boston Braves Cap

Boston Braves cap worn by the winningest left-hander in major league history, Warren Spahn. "Spahn" chain stitched in band, and is a size is 6 7/8. 1940's cap shows terrific overall wear, but is in fine shape overall. Some minor reinforcing of the leather band inside mentioned for accuracy. Shown by Dan Comerford's grandson to Spahn at a New England function in the 1980's, where the deceased Hall of Famer asked, "Where the hell did you get this?" Signed just after by Mr. Spahn in marker underbill. Cool piece.
