Busch Stadium’s Last Pitcher’s Mound Rubber

Busch Stadium’s Last Pitcher’s Mound Rubber

The pitching rubber is used to push off and allows the pitcher to put every ounce of strength towards hurling the ball at speeds approaching 100MPH, something that causes great unease to batters who are looking to bail before the ball is even released. This is the last pitching rubber from Busch Stadium. Well-used slab (24” X 6”) was toed by all of the Cardinals hurlers in the 2005 season, as well as the opposing NL starters such as Clemens, Pedro and Willis. <br>(Estimate $3,000 - $5,000)
