Visitors’ Bullpen Phone

Visitors’ Bullpen Phone

The Cardinals always featured a heavy-hitting attack during their 40 years at Busch Stadium, meaning there was usually plenty of activity in the visitors’ bullpen in left-center field. Much of that activity entailed pitching coaches reaching for this telephone on the back wall and hearing frantic managers plead to get a fresh arm ready. Black phone is 8” deep and 12” tall and encased in an outer metal box printed “Telephone” in vertical white lettering. Right side of the box has a latch with a loop and peg, which when removed would allow the case to be swung open. Phone is in Good condition with a fine array of dings and metal chippings, we’d bet a few of those caused by beleaguered coaches slamming the receiver down in frustration. <br>(Estimate $200 - $300)
